What a fabulous place! The apartment is all, and more, than we expected. The views and the peace are wonderful. We could never tire of the views of the mountains! We have loved Abruzzo and will certainly return. Everyone has been so friendly, wherever we've been, and everywhere you go there are breathtaking views or charming villages. We have had a truly superb week in this wonderful villa and wonderful area. Thank you!

Have just got back from Italy and I wanted to drop you a line to say thanks for everything. The house was wonderful and the Abruzzo region was a revelation. Having been to Italy 6 times now it was really refreshing to be somewhere that was off the tourist trail and very rural but also very beautiful. The second week we spent in Umbria and I really missed the mountains. Vincenzo was also very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. Sorry we did not have time to leave a comment in the book, we just ran out of time and were having too much fun during the week to do it.

We thought San Georgio and Abruzzo were wonderful! We thought the villa was excellent. The layout was perfect for us all, and the views were breathtaking. Thanks Annie and Marek for another great holiday - our third time here and we're already planning the next visit! It's been a pleasure to meet up with everyone here again. San Giorgio and Villa Collecimino are beginning to be our 'home from home'. A fantastic week on our first time to Abruzzo, the apartment is very well equipped and had everything that we needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. 2008 season
Our 10 day stay at Villa Collecimino ends tomorrow and it will be very difficult to wrench ourselves from this special and quite unique spot. When we arrived after 4 hectic days in Rome, we were blown away by the expansive views- where else could you get the sea, dramatic mountains and miles upon miles of cultivated hills? It was spotless, thoughtfully equipped, spacious and bright, and the pool was perfect for the kids. And of course there were the spectacular views. You have the best of all worlds in that particular location. I had been on a two day business trip to a more southerly part of Abruzzo in May and was curious what it would be like up near Gran Sasso. It was better than anything I had imagined, though as I said in your guestbook, we only really scratched the surface.

It is lovely to arrive somewhere that is better then you could have possibly imagined and we were awed by the views and the absolute peace. Everything live up to, or exceeded, our expectations based on your website, photographs and the information provided for visitors. Apartments 1 and 2 were so comfortable, well-furnished and exactly what we wanted. The views from the villa were stunning - truly inspiring - the mountains seemed so much closer than we had expected. Walking out on to the veranda on our first morning was an experience to savour. We have relived the moment on each occasion we have described our holiday to family and friends. The whole family never tired of admiring the views, and many a happy hour was spent by Ben, the youngest of our grandchildren with us, and myself trying to capture the beautiful vistas with pencils, crayons and paints. The people were warm and friendly, the local fresh produce was great. The weather was fantastic. We enjoyed the beaches and the sea, the towns and the villages, the mountains and the fresh air, the local wine and, without exception, we loved staying at your beautiful villa. We will be saying, 'Do you remember at Villa Collecimino...?'

We enjoyed very much our holidays in Abruzzo. We loved the region and the apartment in Villa Collecimino was really marvellous, beautiful and well furnished (I appreciate the presence of linens and towels). It is the first time that we rent such a roomy apartment and it is really pleasant (we all enjoyed the 2 bathrooms and satellite TV!) The view from the terraces were extraordinary. The festa in San Giorgio on 26 July was really funny, especially on Sunday when they played theatre in Abruzzese dialect (which I understood quite well).

2007 season
This place is a must for those who want to escape the hustle, bustle, and stress of home. The apartment was spotless and very spacious and the views from all directions are breathtaking. We have been on many Italian holidays and so far this holiday has been our favourite - best of all worlds - National Parks, mountains and excellent beaches....lack of tourists, charming towns and non-stop sunshine...
